Program Overview & Eligibility

  • You can receive mentorship if you have a high school education or higher.

  • Yes, Accepted Into Medicine mentors individuals from nontraditional backgrounds.

  • Yes, you can still sign up. The program is flexible and tailored to your individual needs, and the number of sessions will be adjusted accordingly.

  • No, you do not have to be a Christian to receive help from Accepted Into Medicine. However, please note that Christian-based principles are integrated throughout the program process.

Mentorship Structure & Session Logistics

  • One-on-one mentorship sessions are conducted either in-person or via a video conferencing platform such as Zoom or FaceTime.

  • The number of sessions is determined by the package that you choose. Please refer to the register now link on the home page.

  • Each session in the high school, college and graduate packages lasts one hour. Mentors may extend the session time at their discretion if necessary.

  • Sessions are scheduled on a customized basis, depending on which phase of the process the mentee is currently in. The exact schedule will be outlined during your first session.

  • You may request add-on sessions, and your mentor will discuss the additional costs.

  • We will strive to keep you paired with the same mentor; however, this may not always be possible due to unforeseen scheduling changes.

  • Your mentor will either be Eboné LeGall or another licensed medical provider from the AIM team.

  • At the mentor’s discretion, he/she will periodically check in with you.

  • The purpose of the questionnaire is to provide insight into the character and mindset of the mentee. Think of it as a written interview that will help your mentor understand you on a deeper and personal level.

Fees, Payments, & Policies

  • No, there are no refunds. However, if you need to postpone the start of your sessions, you can reschedule and resume within one year. For example, if you register on June 1, 2025, you have until June 1, 2026, to complete your first session.

  • No, Accepted Into Medicine does not offer payment plans.

  • Yes, customized packages are available. Please contact us for more information.

Services Provided & Limitations

  • No, Accepted Into Medicine cannot guarantee acceptance into healthcare programs. Think of your Accepted Into Medicine mentor as a coach for an aspiring professional athlete. Just as a coach helps with planning, organizing, and conducting sessions while analyzing an athlete's strengths and weaknesses, your AIM mentor will provide guidance and support throughout your journey.

  • No, your mentor will not write personal statements, essays, resumes, or complete healthcare admissions applications on your behalf. However, your mentor can review them upon request and provide feedback. It is also encouraged to have English instructors review your personal statements and essays.

  • No, Accepted Into Medicine does not provide tutoring services. However, if your mentor recognizes that tutoring is needed, it will be suggested.

  • No, Accepted Into Medicine does not provide assistance with any exam preparation.

  • Yes, Accepted Into Medicine can assist you with interview preparation. However, this support may not be included in your session package, depending on your stage in the application process at the time of registration.

Parental Involvement

  • Parents will be copied on emails and may join sessions. The program encourages student independence and responsibility.
